Biography
Over the past decade, Jessica A. Bosch has earned a reputation as an aggressive litigator. While other attorneys seek out cases that can be easily settled, Jessica enjoys a challenge. She has successfully litigated many family law disputes that other attorneys wouldn’t touch. Her willingness to take on difficult cases has made her a stand-out in the Morris County legal community.
One of the reasons she is skilled at resolving hard cases is that her undergraduate study of psychology, combined with her legal training and experience, allows her to turn empathy into action. She also understands that the difference between “winning” and “losing” a family law dispute, and a divorce in particular, may mean very different things to different people. She works with her clients to determine their end goal, then finds a roadmap to reach that point.
Her ability to focus on achievable outcomes is what helps her take on challenging cases, such as complex litigation that involves high net worth assets and bitter custody disputes. And she is not afraid to work on cases other attorneys turn down, like appeals and efforts to modify existing child custody or support arrangements.
Her clients appreciate not only her ability to craft a clear vision of the future, but the time she takes to break complicated issues down into small pieces that are easier to understand and work towards. In this way, she embodies the firm’s motto, “holding your hand when you need it most.” Her clients know she is always there to guide them.
Jessica has a strong moral compass that served her well in the years she spent working as a lobbyist for the Association for Children of New Jersey. It was her passion for justice that ultimately led her to become a lawyer. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable John E. Selser, JSC, Superior Court Judge, Family Part, Passaic County, then worked at two other firms, including Budd Larner before joining with Beth A. Dalena to form Dalena & Bosch.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, visiting the shore, and touring vineyards.
